Conger LP Gas posted a Congratulatory note on LinkedIn to Kirsten McAlpin, its’ Director of Marketing and Public Relations, on her selection as 2026 Young Professional of the Year by the Young Professionals Council.
“We’re proud to celebrate a big moment for our team! Our very own Kirsten McAlpin, M.S. IMC has been named the 2026 National Propane Gas Association Young Professional of the Year by the Young Professionals Council! Please join us in congratulating her and all of the finalists on this outstanding achievement!”
In her acceptance speech, McAlpin talked about what a full-circle moment this was, “Standing in Nashville, where I once chased a career as a country singer/songwriter and how my career in country radio led to me endorsing Conger on my show which led to me joining the Conger LP Gas team back in 2018.”
“This is a moment I’ll never forget, made even more meaningful by having Kerrigan and my dad there to share it with me,” she said. “Thank you to Mr. Dan Richardson for nominating me and encouraging me to follow my dreams. I love what I do and who I get to do it with every day so much.”
