This morning, NPGA scored an unprecedented victory for the propane industry before the U.S. Supreme Court, protecting propane furnaces.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of NPGA and our natural gas co-plaintiffs American Gas Association and American Public Gas Association to roll back the “furnace rule,” a Biden-era DOE mandate for furnaces to meet 95% AFUE by the end of 2028, which no non-condensing residential propane furnace could meet.
